Every pan in this range has outer layers of 18/10 stainless steel and a flat base, which makes it induction-compatible, plus three inner layers of heat-responsive aluminium. The middle layer of that aluminium is pure, meaning there is no adhesive agent in it that slightly weakens its power. Unlike a lot of saucepans which only have heat-conducting metal like aluminium just at the base, this pan has aluminium all along the sides and to the edge, meaning your food will cook faster and more evenly. High-quality, scratch-resistant steel that’s polished on the outside but brushed on the inside. These are considered normal and do not have any impact on performance or durability. While M’Cook pans are dishwasher-safe, please note that dishwasher detergents that contain harsh chemicals such as potassium are abrasive to the aluminium edge on the rims of these pans. This can cause the edge to feel sharp over time, but does not affect performance. Non-stick pans, however, should never be put in the dishwasher.
